Production and consumption of OSB (Oriented strand board) and plywood boards in the world

Abstract

Statistics and trends of production and consumption of OSB (Oriented strand board) and Plywood boards in the world where presented in this study to illustrate and understand importance of substitution of Plywood by OSB, since the dramatic changes in wood raw material and demands of construction industry occurred at the end of the last century and at the beginning of this millennium. Results of this study may be useful in evaluation of possible uses of mentioned panels.
