Abstract

A green part of the douglas fir from Dubrave plantation was used as a raw material in order to produce essential oil. The process of production is showed through certain phases, and results are explained with discussion and presented with tables and pictures. In our opinion, there are many reasons for which the production of essential oil from the green part of douglas fir should be initiated, with good reasons it could be considered as a profi table one. There is a great demand for this product, an evident proof is its high price on the market, which is over 40% higher than the production price.
