Abstract

Changes in size and structure of stock and increment of high forests with natural regeneration was researched in forest economic region Foča, for the period 1980 - 2000. We applied comparative method, and method of analysis and synthesis of data from Forest Management Plans (FMP) and National Forest Inventory (NFI). Knowledge of the flow of changes in size and structure of stock and increment is significant for assesment of the efects of applied management systems, and changes in conditions of forest reserves. Conducted research shows significant changes in structure of stock in the previous period. Stock of thinner trees was increased, and of thicker was decreased. Current conditions and the conditions in the time of NFI shows the changes in the conditions towards normal and increase of increment.
