The structure of beech, fir and spruce mixed stand in virgin forest Lom

This research work is based on the data collected from the permanent experimental plots, an isolated plot of 1,52 ha in size, in the area of the Lom virgin forest. This virgin forest is located at mount Klekovača massif, in the western Republic of Srpska. Mixed stand of beech, fir and spruce trees was observed in its optimal stage of development. Elements of stand structure and its uniformity were analyzed. Obtained results show extremely large value of quality indicating elements and а high degree of the stand un-uniformity.
