Lead concentracions in woody plants in National Park Fruska gora

Abstract

Lead is heavy metals which is extremely dangerous for plants, animals and people because of its cumulative destructive effect. Lead concentration were tested in plant leaves of woody plants which were collected from seven chosen points by the M - 21 road Irig - Iriski Venac- Paragovo. Lead concentracion was determined by AAS. According results, lead concentrations in analised plants were caused by trafic frequency and slowdown of wehicles.
