The network of protected nature objects in Republic of Srpska

Abstract

This paper speaks about the consequences caused by natural ecosystem disturbance and the signifi cance of protected nature objects, in general. Furthermore, it presents the results obtained by the two years’ research work at the project “The network of protected nature objects in Republic of Srpska”. Additionally, there is a brief overview of some former protected nature objects classifications and the new classification, designed especially for this project’s purposes.
