Dendrotoponyms in the west part of Republic of Srpska in the realm of real and potential vegetation

Abstract

The work describes distribution of dendrotoponyms of western part of Republic of Srpska, regarding potential and real vegetation. Data were aquired from Army topographic maps 1:25000, and were processed in GIS software. We found 1380 dendrotoponyms connected to 54 dendrological terms. Intersecting the maps of dendrotoponyms with the maps of real and potential vegetation we found some very interesting conclusions about vegetation of this area.
