The wild fruit trees of Trapists' Wood

The paper describes the presence degree of growing wild fruit trees species in the Trapists' Wood, near Banjaluka, according to their inoculation possibility (in situ). Systematic sample and author’s own method were applied in order to obtain data. Certain species presence degree is expressed with numbers of trees, graft trunks, graft branches and graft basis, also per forest management classes. Eleven wild fruit trees species were found in the area, which had a different presence degrees, showed in the maps, too. The work directs attention to wild generative hippobionts using prospects. Synthetic character of this forest, which is also a park and an orchard at the same time, interlaces spheres of forest arrangement, fruit growing and landscape architecture.
