The most significant defoliators in the oak forests during the outbreak of the gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar L.) in the western part of the Republic of Srpska
Keywords:
oak, drought, defoliatorsAbstract
Oak forests of the Republic of Srpska encompass about 96.422 ha. These forests are in a great degree under the process of drought. This is the process that goes on for a longer period. The causes for this are complex. Investigation of the infl uence of the most signifi cant defoliators on the oak is very important, especially when there is a gypsy moth outbreak going on. It is of great importance to establish what are the defoliators which come along with the gypsy moth and what is the intensity of their attack.
