Abstract

In the Republic of Srpska, environmental and development characteristics of black alder forests are not explored to the extent needed for management planning at the principles of sustainable forest management. This paper presents the results of developmental characteristics of black alder stands at two localities. Stands on the locality Gunjevci at the age of 53 years and stands at the locality Jakupovci at the age of 65 years.
