Abstract

The paper points out the problems of management planning with high forests with natural regeneration. Paper points out the problems in practice and theoretical shortcomings management systems. On the basis of common principles of modern management and previous experience in the management „Uneven-aged management“ is described as a new way of management. This method of management offers the possibility of complete protection of biodiversity, because the sustainability of forest cover is provided on the entire surface of each stand. Priority objective is high production and the growing quality trees. It is proposed to introduce some elements of the control of management and increased operational planning at the level of compartment.
